As promised… here are a few more party pics from Saturday’s party with KangKo and Vorsteiner for the Grand Opening of the Lounge.
Welcome to our Casa…
Elvin is the man around here right now. His popularity has gone through the roof ever since he showed us how he can hang with the big dogs.
Don’t mess with Matt. You need Security at your next event? Hire this guy.
Sweet, sweet KangKo bling.
KangKo perfecting his pieces. Merchandising is key.
We make Lemonade here at Attic.
Kimo is modeling our Super Flat Top shades. Simply stunning Kimo.
KangKo doesn’t stop at jewelry. Check out the $400 Limited Edition Croc Skin hats he created.
Our in-house model, Kathleen. Yah girl!
People, take notes. THIS is how you show up to a party: a bottle of Veuve in each hand. Wanna do even better? Come with some Dom P. Great job Calvin, thanks for poppin’ bottles in our honor!
KangKo – “I’m number one!” and James – “Ok fine, I’m number two…”
My bottles now, b*tches!!
Lucky boys going home with some Limited Edition KangKo hats
Liz from Vorsteiner – gotta love cute girls that actually work in the car industry.
The IMKING crew. These are the ones responsible for Elvin’s amazing night at XS that he only remembers half of. Haha!
This is Jordan’s face for “May I please have another?”
Attic family lovin’ right here.
When are we going to get Duck Hunt for these things??
This is what the Lounge is for – hanging with your friends, macking on sushi, and sippin’ on that sizzurp!
Finally. The part we have all been waiting for…
The KangKo custom Attic G-Shock giveaway!
5… 9… 2… 5… 9…
The winning ticket.
Winner Polo thinking “OOOoo-Weeeee! Look at my new watch!”
Sorry James, your KangKo is legit. But I gotta give it to Polo, I like that new too…
KangKo didn’t want to stop there. He took off his own belt – a prototype KangKo Anaconda with ice-setting – to raffle off as well.
I just have to point out Justin’s boots – LOVE them!!
Winner, winner!
Make Lemonade with Albert aka Bolsa’s Finest
Alex, you look straight up guilty.
BBM makes the world go ’round.
Post-party destination: Kapow in Cypress. So good!
Karaoke at Kapow too. Glad I missed this. I do NOT sing.
From all of us at Attic, we just want to say a big Thank You – Domo Arigato – Mahalo – Muchas Gracias – Gan Sa Hab Ni Da to everyone that came out and showed their love and support. Lots more to come with an addition of a deck and beverages to the Lounge, so keep stopping in.
Ever heard of Indian Pole Gymnastics?! Neither had I until someone sent me this link. I have no words other than someone please book that man an appointment at the waxing salon!!!
We wanted to commemorate our “REDEFINITION” by bringing in some help from family all over.
Attic has always been about lifestyle and we are fortunate to have great partners all over the world.
In the Jewelry department, no one else is killin’ it harder for us than KangKo Jewelry
The man has worked with anyone that is important all over Asia and ventured out to stateside to showcase his skills and passion.
Besides his KangKo Jewelry G-Shock Editions, this man has the craziest dreams and vision and you will definitely be along for the ride to see him one up himself constantly.
He is definitely been called for all over and look for him to produce some sick collaboration works with your favorite brands!
In the automotive department, this is definitely a treat.
Growing up, it was all about fun Japanese cars but when I used to see the Big Bad Euros, I always told myself, SOMEDAY.
SOMEDAY, I will make some more paper to get my a** into one.
SOMEDAY, I will have even MORE paper on the side to make my Euro roll harder than the other cats @ the club…
Well, that SOMEDAY came many years ago and I have been blessed with being able to keep at least ONE promise to myself.
Vorsteiner is definitely a name being thrown around with European Tuning. You can’t read through a Tuning Magazine without seeing a handful of cars sporting their precision Carbon Fiber products.
The design influence behind our commemorative T is all about redefinition. And that has ALWAYS been the campaign of Vorsteiner. But like them, we look to “redefining perfection”
This past Saturday we kicked off the Grand Opening of the Attic Lounge with a killer 2-3-4 sale (please tell me you didn’t miss it) and partied through the evening poppin’ bottles and giving away thousands of dollars worth of swag. We are pumped on our new chill spot at the Buena Park store and it was great to have you all there to kick it with us.
BIG THANKS TO OUR FRIENDS:
KangKo – who flew all the way over from Korea and built us a one-of-a-kind blinged out G-Shock to raffle off. KangKo really got in the giving mood after he saw how hyped up everyone was on the watch and started giving away his own personal possessions too!
Vorsteiner – for gracing us with the presence of a Vorsteiner VRT Edition Porsche 911 Turbo and a VF Engineering x Vorsteiner Widebody E92 BMW M3 Coupe, which instantly transformed our parking lot into the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
City Grounds – who also improved the Attic’s appearance with the addition of two of their custom fixed gear bikes. We have them both in the shop still so come check them out if you didn’t get a chance to make it to the party. Look for us in October for a spooky 2 wheelin’ month
Rockstar Energy – without them we couldn’t have made it through the 5 handles of vodka. We especially loved the Guava flavor – YUM!!
Here is part I: “the setup to the magical evening” c/o Chaz
While others are setting up for the event, Manager Iggy is hard at work with ???
If you haven’t heard about Kanye West’s “Good Fridays” pay attention. Starting last week and going until Christmas, Kanye will be releasing one new track every Friday*. Some will be his, others will be those of friends such as Beyonce and Jay-Z. Either way, we love new music so bring it on Kanye!!
*Shoot… either this man can’t sleep, or he’s still trying to redeem himself after all the egotistical crap he’s pulled lately
This week he released “Monster”. It’s his own track featuring heavy hitters Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and Bon Iver. And can I just say that I love Ms. Minaj… Homegirl is killin’ it lately!!
“This is such a big statement and such a big thing to fill but I think the scariest artist in the game right now is definitely Nicki Minaj and I think she has the most potential out of everyone to be the Number 2 rapper of all time. Because nobody’s gonna be bigger than Eminem. Eminem is the #1 Rapper of all time.” -Kanye West on a Hot 97 interview
