What a night! Thinking back on it, I felt like Prom day was a recap of an adventure movie- a clash between The Hangover & Harold&Kumar.
Courtesy of Attic’s very own, Marilyn Tang

Sadly, I had to drop my pride and stand on not only 1, but 2 phonebooks in the studio pictures. Should’ve invested in man heels…
We ran into a minor battery/ignition problem. Who knew jumpstarting a car would take so much work.

Ending the unforgettable night, I couldn’t have said it any better than Nickel’s 1,2 punchline, “We Here Baby!”

While everyone was prepping for Nickel’s graduation shindig in Buena Park, I took the last opportunity to catch Olly Moss’ exhibit in Melrose on its closing day! Olly Moss is a very talented graphic designer/artist – you may be familiar with most of his pieces floating around on tumblr being re-blogged by many!
All his pieces are original one of a kind hand cut silhouettes of people and characters that most of us know and have grown up with.
The exhibit was housed at Gallery 1988

All pieces were individually framed and already sold

I cannot tell a lie, this silhouette is pretty sick

The cast of The Lord of the Rings

Captain Jack Sparrow of Pirates – take a look at how detailed this silhouette is!

Not sure about you, but things like this amaze me. Definitely stay posted because I’ll be taking a visit to LACMA’s Tim Burton exhibit which just opened two days ago, and will be on a hunt just like Nickel’s for raw street art in LA.

I needed a break from this bar study madness…
Not sure how I ended up here but I did. And it was lovely. Sorry EJ, sometimes you just can’t beat the real thing!

Crossing off item after item on my to-do list for prom, a crispy cut was most
definitely one of them.

I took Mr. Attic’s advice, going to the one and only Rosewood Barbershop down the street to not only look crispy, but to socialize with a non elderly barber who knows how to cut all sorts of styles- a rare talent actual that I come across today.

Don’t get me wrong, I support the chain barbershops, but they only seem to be able to execute the hair styles that were “hip” in Mr. Attic’s days.

Shoutout to Rosewood Barbershop, where they live up to the hype of a legit barber shop, masters of the essential tools to your head’s swag
