Celebrating the Dragon Year

We love our cars. Sit in it, sleep in it, eat in it, and definitely spend a good amount of time isolated in it. On a Saturday afternoon, I decided to ditch the car and go public transportation (Shock! I know, I know) to head to the Chinese New Year Parade in Chinatown to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.

There, I joined the throngs of people where I chatted up and rubbed elbows with random strangers. Firecrackers popped and confetti rained waiting for the floats and dragons to make their way down Hill Ave.

I used to play with these things all the time! #POP

Kanye ain’t got nothing on these

The real deal

I saved a few dollars on gas and parking, which funneled into Dim Sum that I took home. You won’t find this spot on the main street!

Until next time!

The Marathon

Our fam @SkeeTV brought West Coast rapper @NipseyHussle to the Buena Park flagship for some afterhours shopping before his show at the Galaxy Theatre. Nip was definitely ready to spend big time and he did just that.

Even Sheela of SkeeTV did a little shopping!

Big ups to June and Mally of SkeeTV for bringing Nipsey through!

Nipsey takes a look at all the goodies he just picked out

You know this kid Kelvin is special when he can get Nipsey to smile like this…

But serious face. It’s showtime.

After Nip’s shopping spree, we headed out with him to the Galaxy Theatre for some backstage/onstage access!

I hope your mom doesn’t read our blog… BURNT!

Before Nipsey’s performance, @YG set it off!

Number 2Three

We just got in some LIMITED pairs of the leather wrapped 2Three by 9five Eyewear. Featuring cement grey elephant print on the arms, this limited edition set of shades pays homage to one of the most hyped kicks ever, the Air Jordan III. The inside of the arms are fire red to complete the motif.

The hand-made acetate frame is fully wrapped in full-grain leather on the front with 10% UV protected CR39 lenses to protect your eyes. To make the stunnas even more desirable… the pair comes packaged in a mini Jordan-esque shoebox.

Scoodie Scoodie Doo

I’m sure we’ve all seen those hooded scarf-glove things with animal ears (worn by 75% of “AZN” girls). But then again during these cold days, scarves and gloves are almost a necessity.Luckily for those who want to sport the hooded scarf look without the unnecessary “cuteness?” there’s a great solution…

Introducing Scoodie. The original detachable hooded scarf which combines everything you need to keep warm.

What makes these scarves so different from the rest (other than the animal-thing), is that there are 3 different stitching patterns (color-coordinated for easy use). This feature allows you to shift the hood and align it left, right or dead center and create endless possibilities!

But it’s not just for girls… @elvinabril shows you what’s up!
