Carrying on the Torch
The September 8th release of the Air Penny V’s, known as “Red Eagle,” carries on the torch of this legendary line. From its red upper, it is separated by the black and white midsole, and refreshingly ended by an icy sole. As you can see, there is a bit of the Air Max built into this beast. It has an awesome, fiery essence, but there is more meaning behind the aesthetics to this pair. On the tabs on the rear of the shoes lies quotes, “Part II Heaven Cent; The Storm Is Over.” And on the insole is a quote that says, “Ballin Is What I Was Born To Do.” Further, on the other insole is an outline of his homestate of Tennessee.
