AMAze Yourself
I was recently invited by the American Marketing Association at Cal State Fullerton to be a guest speaker. The topic was branding and although I may not be the best person to speak on the subject I offered my insight, advice and how I think how a person and business should be branded. To be honest, I expected only a handful of students to show up. So when I walked into the room of over 60, I was blown away. A humbling moment to say the least.
This was also special day for me for another reason. While I was in law school, I interned for famed sports agent Leigh Steinberg and used to book him for speaking engagements at colleges all over the country. I only dreamed of the day that I would have some kind of knowledge to share with someone else, making this experience that much more memorable. I met a lot of ambitious students who I am confident will be achieving great things this industry and others in the upcoming years.
