Art!!!
I’ve always been a patron of the arts. Being an actor I sort of have to be…I guess. But always being engrossed in the dramatic arts I never erally payed attention to fine art. Well I decided I would throw my two cents back into the artistic ether and buy a painting. I started to research what I could buy and decided I should support friends who are talented. Which made me think of Johnny Punishment.
Dude i have known this guy since he was a traveling carnie. I remember the first time i saw him he had bleached hair, piercings all over, and consumed rubbing alcohol. He explained to me his future aspirations was a porn star. And you think I’m making this up.
He’s amazingly talented so I decided to buy his painting entitled Buk Buk. Its a painting of Charles Bukowski a notorious womanizer and raging alcoholic, he truly did not give a fuck. He was also an Angeleno.
I pulled up to the pick up point and upon arrival johnny gave me this sinister look
We then loaded the picture in to my truck
I know my truck is fucken dirty… but they’re supposed to be
Johnny then explained to me how Charles Bukowski was one of the greatest americans to ever live. I said if he drinks wine like that he must’ve been. And i was on my way. I put the picture downstairs of my moms place for safe keeping. In the morning I woke to my mom’s scream. She was pleasantly surprised by the broken wine bottle and middle finger! classy
